Thomas Hodgkin's Tomb In Jaffa

To the Editor:— In the April issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine , I have published an account of a visit to Thomas Hodgkin's tomb at Jaffa in Israel. It seems appropriate on the 100th anniversary of his burial there to call this to the attention of others who might be interested. Your editor, knowing that I would be in Israel last summer, reminded me that Hodgkin was buried in Jaffa and told me that his efforts to visit the tomb were not successful because of conflicting plane schedules. Last summer, when I was in Israel, through the good offices of Dr. Joshua Leibowitz, professor of medical history at the Hebrew University, and through the courtesy of the university, which provided car, driver, and photographer, a small group of us did indeed make a pilgrimage to Hodgkin's tomb.
