Effect of Lipi Huatan Jiangzhi Tablet on Lipid Metabolic Enzymes in Hyperlipemia

To further study the mechanism of Lipi Huatan Jiangzhi Tablet (LHJT) for regulating blood lipids,a single_blinded controlled clinical trial was carried out.Eighty cases of hyperlipemia were randomly allocated by stratification to LHJT group (50) and lipanthyl control group (30).The activities of lipoprotein lipase(LPL)and lecithin_cholesterol acyltrans_ferase (LCAT) were examined before and after treatment.The results showed that LHJT could significantly raised the activities of LPL and LCAT (P 0.01 or P 0.05 ). It is suggested that the enhancement of activity of lipid metabolic enzyme may be one of the lipid_reducing mechanisms of LHJT.
