The diagnostic significance of the binding capacity of immunoglobulins with amino acids in torpid rheumatism

1991
: The authors studied the binding capacity of immunoglobulins (Ig) in torpid rheumatism. An increase was established of the binding capacity of IgG with glutamic acid and arginine and reduction of the binding capacity of IgM with serine. The degree of increase of the binding capacity of Ig with amino acids was 2.2 times higher than increase of the Ig level which may be a more sensitive index of activity of the rheumatic process.
