Human heart motion analysis through normal flow methods [SPECT image analysis]

1993
Describes a normal direction-based method to track heart motion. First, the space between two slices is interpolated to reconstruct the local region. Then the method expands the 3-dimensional surface to a frame, and attributes each cell of the frame with its normal vector. Through changing the parameter of the attribute, it generates angle maps and applies modified optical flow method to the angle maps to estimate the 2-dimensional motion vector field of the deformable surface. >
