New insulating materials and thermoreactive insulation systems for turbogenerators and hydrogenerators

The improvement of thermoreactive insulation for high-voltage machines is considered; the insulation is made by two technologies: hot pressing of rod housing insulation using presteeped mica tape; and vacuum-pressure impregnation of unsteeped tape with epoxy compound.
