Ammonia-containing tail gas treatment technology

The invention discloses an ammonia-containing tail gas treatment technology, which is suitable for processing ammonia-containing tail gas discharged during an industrial process. According to the treatment technology, the ammonia-containing tail gas is treated by employing a selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) technology, the tail gas and the required air are mixed, a mixture is heated through a tail gas heater, and then is introduced into a catalytic converter for a selective catalytic oxidation reaction, most of NH3 and HCN in the tail gas can be converted to N2, the purified gas from the catalytic converter is introduced into a waste heat recovery system for recovering heat, and then the gas is discharged to atmosphere. The treatment technology does not require any auxiliary fuel, and has the advantages of simple process, low reaction temperature, low operation cost, no secondary pollution, and complete tail gas treatment. The waste heat recovery system is arranged in the process, steam generated by reaction heat is recovered, and the treatment technology has good economic benefit and social benefit.
