Robust H_∞ filter for uncertain linear descriptor systems

A robust H∞ filter is designed for a class of uncertain linear descriptor systems subject to para-meter uncertainty and unknown disturbance.Under the admissible and observable assumptions,the sufficient condition for the existence of the robust H∞ filter is given based on the bounded real lemma for descriptor systems.The sufficient condition is reformulated as linear matrix inequalities(LMI).Therefore,the parameter matrices of the robust H∞ filter can be solved via the LMI technique.An equivalent form of the robust H∞ filter is further derived to simplify the calculation procedure for the parameter matrices.Finally,a numerical example is used to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.
