The invention discloses an operation platform for decoration work on long cantilever positions of roofs with steel structures. The operation platform comprises a construction work portion, a counterweight laying portion, a moving portion, a climbing portion and a safety device. The safety device comprises jacking devices and anti-falling devices, the jacking devices comprise upright columns, connectors, tubular adjusting turn bolts and U-shaped jacking components, the lower ends of the upright columns are welded on the counterweight laying portion, the upper ends of the upright columns are welded with the lower ends of the connectors, the upper ends of the connectors are welded with the lower ends of the tubular adjusting turn bolts, and the upper ends of the tubular adjusting turn bolts are welded with the lower surfaces of the bottom walls of the U-shaped jacking components; the anti-falling devices comprise safety ropes and adjusting turn buckles, the upper sides of the safety ropes are hung on beams of the steel structures and are fixed by the aid of safety rope clips, and the lower sides of the safety ropes are hung on hooks on the upper portions of the adjusting turn buckles and are fixed by the aid of safety rope clips. The operation platform has the advantages that the operation platform is provided with multiple safety systems and is specially applicable to the decoration work on the long cantilever positions of the roofs with the steel structures.
