Hydrozoan build-ups ofMillepora irregularis sp. nov. and fungiid coral meadows ofCunnolites Alloiteau (Anthozoa)—Palaeoecological and palaeoceanographical implications for the upper cretaceous of North Cantabria (Northern Spain)

1998
The Cantabrian Basin of northern Spain yields an Upper Santonian/Lower Campanian carbonate sequence, where both milleporid hydrozoans and fungiid corals established uncommon and hitherto unknown bioconstructions. The section where these bioconstructions are exposed can be divided in four lithological units.
