The invention discloses a sterilizing composition containing fluxapyroxad and simeconazole and application of the sterilizing composition. The sterilizing composition uses the fluxapyroxad and the simeconazole as the main effective components, wherein the mass ratio of the fluxapyroxad to the simeconazole is (1-70):(1-50). The sterilizing composition has the advantages that the sterilizing composition can be used for preventing and treating diseases of cereal crops, fruit trees and vegetables, has a high synergic effect and is capable of overcoming and delaying the insecticide resistance of pathogenic bacteria, fast in sterilizing, lasting in effect and capable of lowering application cost, and the preventing and treating effect of the sterilizing composition is evidently better than that of the fluxapyroxad or the simeconazole used independently; the sterilizing composition can be used for preventing and treating fungous diseases of the crops and especially used for preventing and treating the fungous diseases such as powdery mildew, venturia inaequalis, rust disease, damping-off, sheath blight and gray mold, and the preventing and treating effect of the sterilizing composition is evidently better than that of the fluxapyroxad or the simeconazole used independently.
