CARS measurements of the correlation characteristics of a jet in gas

Optical measurements of gas concentration at two points in a flow by rotational coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering are considered. Measurements of the space and time correlators of the hydrogen concentration fluctuations in a jet in gas on scales of 20 mm and 10{sup -4}-10{sup 2} sec are given. The coordinate and time resolutions of the technique are 0.05 x 0.05 x 0.05 mm and 10{sup -8}sec.
