Surface helicons in a structure with graphene monolayer lying on a 3D plasma

2016
The effect of collisionless damping of surface helicons in three-dimensional plasma covered by a graphene monolayer has been theoretically discovered. The damping is caused by the electron transitions from a valence band to a conduction band in a graphene monolayer. The graphene monolayer is shown to result in anomalous dispersion of surface helicons.
