Residual Stresses in the Formed Corrugated Sheet with Rubber Like Coating

2000
The mathematical model of elasto-plastic deformation and off-loading of sheet with rubber-like coating in the process of sheet-metal stamping in the rigid press tools to obtain corrugated plate is developed. The strain-stress state of the metal is modelled using deformation theory of plasticity, the relation between stress and strain deviators is set from the tension-compression test-diagram. The strain-stress relation for nonlinear elastic rubber material is described using Finger's tensor, which is specificated by 3 experimental constants. The solution of problem is realized numerically with application of iteration procedure. The calcutation results permitted to obtain stresses appearing in the metal and rubber coating during loading, residual stresses distribution and plate configuration after off-loading.
