Homogeneous synthesis of aromatic alcohols from iron carbonyl complexes of phenylacetylene, CO, and H2

The homogeneous stoichiometric reaction of synthesis of aromatic alcohols in the reaction of iron carbonyl complexes of phenylacetylene with CO and H2, the model of analogous heterogeneous synthesis on a melted iron catalyst, was conducted. 2. Complexes with a binuclear structure exhibit significantly higher reactivity than mononuclear complexes.
