Defective lentiviral transfer vectors that do not integrate vaccine

2007
Using a particle lentiviral vector HIV is not integrated comprising a protein integrase defective and further comprises an RNA genome that is the transcription product of a vector genome comprising a polynucleotide encoding at least one antigenic polypeptide, two LTR and DNA flap comprising the cPPT and CTS domains in the manufacture of an immunogenic composition to elicit a protective immune response against said at least one antigenic polypeptide to prevent infection by a pathogen or neoplastic states, a human being to which said immunogenic composition comprising dosage of said lentiviral vector HIV ranging from 1 ug to 100 ug of p24 antigen is administered, wherein said protein integrase defective is an integrase having a mutation class I to alter specifically integrase activity.
