Effect of Maize Straw Lsolation Layer on Alkalization Characteristics and Nutrient Status of Saline-Alkali Soil in West Liaohe Region

2013
The nutrient and alkalization indicators were analyzed to study the improvement effects on barley in saline-alkali soil by using the isolation layer of maize straw since 2008.The results showed that the A3B1 treatment which maize straw was 6 kg/m2 and burial depth was 10 cm,was the optimal treatment.By the ecological restoration of maize straw isolation layer for four years, the content of soil organic matter was increased by 10.4 g/kg compared with the CK.Alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium contents were increased by 43.2,56.0,102.7 mg/kg respectively compared with the CK.The pH,degree of alkalization and total amount of salt were decreased by 2.19,37.3% and 2.251 g/kg respectively. The content of cations such as K+,Na+,Ca2+ and Mg2+ was reduced by 78.6%,72.8%,81.5% and 75.6% respectively. The content of anions such as CO32-,HCO3-,SO42- and Cl-was reduced by 60.0%,75.5%,40.0% and 65.5% respectively. The nutrient contents of other treatments were all increased in different degree, and the alkalization characteristics indicators were all improved.
