Handwritten symbol recognition method, system and device

The invention relates to a handwritten symbol recognition method, system and device. The method comprises the following steps: recognizing a request instruction which gives an indication of handwriting to input symbols by a user; when recognizing the request instruction which gives an indication of inputting symbols by the user, dividing a handwriting area; after dividing the handwriting area, recognizing a handwriting chirography of the user when the user is inputting the symbols in the handwriting area and the position, in the handwriting area, of the chirography; and controlling to display the symbol corresponding to the handwriting chirography onto a corresponding position on a display line in a display area according to the position, in the handwriting area, of the handwriting chirography. According to the method, the symbol corresponding to the handwriting chirography can be correctly displayed on the display line according to the position of the handwriting chirography of the user.
