The Dongshengmiao Zn–Pb–Cu Deposit

The giant Dongshengmiao is the third largest Pb–Zn deposit in China (Wang et al. 2014), with total metal reserves of 4.83 Mt Zn (@ 2.85%), 0.96 Mt Pb (@ 0.67%) and 0.11 Mt Cu (@0.86%; Long 2009). The enrichment of massive pyrite accompanying Zn–Pb–Cu mineralization also makes it possible to make sulfur acid through mining pyrite.
