Laser system with resonator

2011
A laser system (100) for emitting laser light having a first resonator mirror (110) and a second resonator mirror (120) disposed relative to the first resonator mirror so that laser light passes through a resonance chamber formed between the first resonator and the second resonator multiple times. In the resonator chamber an optically stimulable gain medium (140) in the beam path of the laser light is arranged. Furthermore, in the resonator cavity, a prism (150) is arranged, which consists of a material transparent to the laser light dispersive prism material. The prism has an obliquely aligned to the beam direction of the laser light first prism surface (151) and a second prism surface (152) which is aligned obliquely with respect to the first prism surface, that a refracted at the first prism surface portion of the laser light at the second prism surface refracted and is directed in the direction of the second resonator (120). In this case, due to dispersion of the prism material, the laser light forms a fan of component beams of different wavelengths, which meet in different, dependent on the wavelength of the partial beams incident angles onto the second resonator mirror. There is a tilting mechanism (180) for tilting the second resonator mirror about a tilting axis (182) is provided which runs perpendicular to a plane spanned by the sub-beams of the fan plane of incidence. By tilting of the second resonator, the wavelength of emitted by the laser system useful beam (N) is adjustable.
