An Unsuccessful attempt to Increase Susceptibility to the Fatty Liver and Kidney Syndrome

SUMMARY Chick susceptibility to the fatty liver and kidney syndrome was not increased by heating eggs prior to incubation at 37° C for 18 h or by exposure to an increase in heat from 26° to 4.4° C over 24 h. Vitamin A at the rate of 300,000 i.u. per gallon of drinking water did not increase mortality.
