《世界肿瘤杂志》核心竞争力探寻:基于作者群的分析

Objective To evaluates the level of Tumour Journal of the World by analyzing its authors and their organizations, and to explore promptly the author team and the core competency of the journal. Methods The journals (from June, 2002 when the journal was published to 2007) were analyzed by quantitative technique methods for the following aspects: the amount of the articles written by each writer, cooperative conditions of writers, the core authors, distributions of districts and highly quantitative units. Results There were 662 articles published in Tumour Journal of the World and 516 first authors in all in the half past five years. 429 authors had only one article in the journal, which were accounted for 83.14% of the total first authors. Including these journals, 7 papers for one writer was the most one. There were 60 articles with single author and 599 articles with more than one author. The cooperative rate was 90.90% and the cooperative degree was 3.26. There were 28 (5.43%) core authors with 114 (17.30%) articles and 25 high-quantities organizations with 290 (45.10%) articles published in the study. The core origins distributes mostly were Shanghai, Jiangsu Province and Guangdong Province, where published 342 papers accounting for 53.19% of all. Shanghai with 209 (32.50%) articles was the number one region in publishing. Conclusions Authors of the Tumour Journal of the World have a wide distribution and highly cooperative rate. There are a group of active and talented authors who have a great influence on the journal.
