Pb(SbF6)2 and Ba(SbF6)2 and PbFSbF6 are prepared by reaction of the corresponding metal difluorides, SbF3, anhydrous HF, and excess elemental F2 (fluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene reaction vessels, 25 °C).
