Implant with a base body made of a ferrous alloy biocorrodible

2008
The invention relates to an implant with a base body, which consists wholly or in part of an iron alloy biocorrodible: (I) a biocorrodible iron alloy of the formula (1): Fe-P, a proportion of P in the alloy is 0.01 to 5 wt .-% and is Fe and production-related impurities to 100 wt .-% for the remainder of taking the alloy; or (Ii) a biocorrodible iron alloy of the formula (2): Fe-Mn-X, wherein a portion of Mn in the alloy is 5 to 30 wt .-%, X is one or more elements selected from the group Pt, Pd, Ir, Rh, Re, Ru and Os, and a proportion of X in the alloy 0 to 20 wt .-%, and Fe and production-related impurities occupy the remaining wt .-% to 100 residual amount of the alloy; or (Iii) a biocorrodible iron alloy of the formula (3): Fe-Z, wherein Z is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Pt, Ir and Os, and the amount of Z in the alloy is 5 to 30 wt .-%, and Fe as well as impurities resulting from the wt .-% remaining to 100 residual rate of the alloy up.
