Ribosomal protein synthesis during recovery from puromycin treatment

Abstract During recovery from puromycin treatment four 50-S ribosomal proteins are synthesized to a greater extent than all others. An examination of ribosomal proteins synthesized during residual protein synthesis in the presence of puromycin has indicated that puromycin does not inhibit synthesis of all 50-S ribosomal proteins to the same extent.
