ANALYSIS OF VITAMIN E IN DUNALIELLA SALINA POWDER BY HPLC

2007
The concentration of vitamin E in Dunaliella Salina has been analyzed by way of HPLC.A complete set of analytical methods for vitamin E is established.Chromatography conditions are:HPLC with a C18 column, and methanol used as mobile phase, with flow rate being 1 mL/min.Vitamin E is thus separated and detected by use of UV detector. The standard linear regression equation of vitamin E is R=0.99994.The variation coefficient of this method is 1.15%,and the recovery ratio is from 93.0% to 107.0%.By analyzing the saponification time, the dosage of KOH,and the dosage of pyrogallol, etc, the optimal saponification conditions are determined. The orthogonal experiment shows that the dosage of pyrogallol and KOH is the main factor that affects saponification.
