Effect of CO2 lattice laser combined with local injection of triamcinolone acetonide acetate on quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions in patients with hypertrophic scar

2018
Objective To observe the effect of CO2 lattice laser combined with local injection of triamcinolone acetonide acetate on quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions in patients with hypertrophic scar (HS). Methods A total of 104 patients with HS from December 2014 to December 2016 in our hospital were randomly divided into 2 groups with 52 cases in each group. The control group was treated with local injection of triamcinolone acetonide acetate, and the study group was given CO2 lattice laser on the basis of the control group, and the two groups were treated for 5 cycles. The treatment effect, adverse reaction rate, and quality of life of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results The rank sum test showed that the effective rate of treatment of the study group was 98.08% (51/52), higher than that of the control group [75% (39/52)] (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 11.53% (6/52), which was lower than that in the control group [26.93% (14/52)] (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of social function, psychological function, physical function, and material life status of the study group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion CO2 lattice laser combined with local injection of triamcinolone acetonide acetate can improve the treatment effect of HS patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and improve the quality of life.
