Possibilities of application speech technologies in the development of educational software in schools

Participation of speech content contributes interactivity of educational software. In schools in Serbia, there are no always the necessary conditions to quality create speech content, by recording of natural speech. Developed computer speech technology for Serbian language, allow the creation of speech content the quality is very closed to natural speech. This paper describes the idea of using computer TTS technology for Serbian language, to improve the interactivity of an educational software developed at the school.
