Provided is a vertical type permanent-magnet direct-drive motor including a casing, an upper end cover, a lower end cover, a stator winding, and a rotor, the rotor includes a rotor shaft, a permanent magnet, and a silicon steel plate, the permanent magnet is fixed on the outer peripheral face through a T-shaped key and the silicon steel plate, the stator winding is arranged in the casing, the upper end and the lower end of the casing are respectively provided with the upper end cover and the lower end cover, the two ends of the rotor shaft are rotationally arranged in the center holes of the upper end cover and the lower end cover through bearings, the upper end of the rotor shaft is a power output end and is provided with a rotary disc, the upper end and the lower end of the casing are respectively provided with an air inlet and an exhaust outlet that are communicated with the inside of the casing, and an exhaust device is arranged at the exhaust outlet. The vertical type permanent-magnet direct-drive motor can effectively remove the dust entered into the vertical type permanent-magnet direct-drive motor and prevent the dust from entering into the vertical type permanent-magnet direct-drive motor, provides axial support force; and the carried articles on the vertical type permanent-magnet direct-drive motor can be supported.
