Unlocking apparatus and method

The present invention discloses an unlocking apparatus. The apparatus comprises a detection module, a first determination module and a first processing module. The apparatus further comprises: a second determination module, used for determining within a preset time whether a finger of a user is detected to slide from a next sensing pattern to a current sensing pattern; a second processing module, used for withdrawing a line segment between the current sensing pattern and the next sensing pattern when a determination result of the second determination module is that the finger of the user is detected within the preset time to slide from the nest sensing pattern to the current sensing pattern; a second generation module, used for generating an unlocking pattern according to the line segment on an unlocking interface when the finger of the user leaves from a touch screen; and an unlocking module, used for comparing the generated unlocking pattern with a preset unlocking pattern password, and if the generated unlocking pattern is consistent with the preset unlocking pattern password, unlocking the screen. The present invention further discloses an unlocking method. With adoption of the unlocking apparatus and method disclosed by the present invention, in an unlocking process, error input can be corrected in time and the unlocking efficiency is improved.
