Flat surface light for loading and backlighting applications with integrated emergency power supply

The invention relates to a flat light-emitting lighting device for a vehicle and a method for emergency energy supply of the lighting device. A low depth and low power consumption of the lighting device is ensured by the use of a flat-panel light OLED. Due to the low power consumption of the OLED panel light a network-independent emergency energy can be integrated without increasing the overall depth. Such flat and in an emergency self-powered lighting devices can be used, for example, aerospace vehicles, to indicate emergency evacuation routes other relevant information or with suitable symbols or characters.
