SIMPLIFIED MODELING STRATEGIES FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES UNDER SEISMIC LOADING USING DAMAGE CONCEPTS

1999
Continuum damage mechanics allows a realistic description of concrete like materials degradation. Used in combination with a simplified finite element code based on multilayered beam kinematics assumptions, unilateral local damage models become an efficient tool to describe the response of reinforced concrete structures under seismic loading.
