Analysis of Goos–Hanchen Shift for an epsilon-near-zero slab sandwiched between two non-integer dimensional media

2021
Abstract In this article, analysis of the Goos Hanchen (GH) effect for an epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) slab, sandwiched between two different non-integer dimensional (NID) media, considering a plane wave as the source of excitation is presented. Both transverse electric and transverse magnetic polarizations are taken into account in this regard. The influence of variation of NID parameters on the reflection/ transmission coefficient and GH shift is examined. For value of the NID parameter equal to two, results already published in scientific literature are recovered.
