Adaptive Intra Prediction Method Based on Intra Coding in H.264

In H.264/AVC,each of the MB modes has several directional prediction modes,which could improve the coding efficiency.Meanwhile,it will also increase the coding complexity.Focus to this problem,the article gives a new method of adaptive intra prediction(AIP).By analyzing the RDO of different prediction modes,we try to use most probable mode(MPM) to replace the multiple prediction modes,which would decrease the complexity and improve the efficiency.The later experimental result shows that this method could achieve the purpose.
