Optoelectronic features of novel infrared CuInS2–ZnIn2S4 crystalline alloys
2014
Novel promising CuInS2–ZnIn2S4 elastoptical crystalline alloys which is operated by light is synthesized. Investigation of photoconductivity and IR-induced piezooptic effect has been performed for novel synthesized single crystalline CuInS2–ZnIn2S4 alloys. Correlation between the photoconductivity and the piezooptic effect has been established. Our measurements show a substantial dependence of the photoinduced piezooptic maxima on temperature between 50 and 60 K, thus indicating that these materials may have a potential for future use as IR-operated materials.
