197Au (α,xn)201−xTl reactions

Excitation functions of (α, xn) reactions on197Au with x≤5 have been measured in different irradiations from 10 to 55 MeV bombarding energy, by Ge intrinsic spectroscopy of the residual activity of stacked foils. Absolute cross sections for the formation of200,199,198,197,196 mTl are reported. Isomeric ratios for products198mTl and198gTl were also determined.
