Municipal Water Quality Monitoring and Emergency Response System Design and Implementation

Water contamination problem has increased rapidly with urban development. So water pollution treatment is becoming an urgent issue that needs to be solved. Therefore, establishing municipal water quality monitoring and emergency response, realizing real-time monitoring of water quality and water contamination emergency treatment is very important. In this paper, through analyzing the data source, existing management mode, we presented the system architecture, the system logical level, four function modules and system flow. Then we discussed four modules in detail and analyze the system flow. The four modules are data entry, GIS operation, real-time monitoring of water quality, emergency response. Finally, the system uses Browser/Server architecture and utilizes Flex as the visible display technology and MapGIS K9 IGServer as a map web service platform to do a redevelopment.We achieve one-stop management of municipal drinking water quality monitoring, early warning and emergency response.
