The exploration of educational innovation on genetic engineering

Genetic engineering course is one of the basic biological courses which should be adapted to the demand of modern education and reformed to raise the comprehensive qualities of students.This article discussed some educational innovations for increasing teaching effect and quality.Introduced by "research projects",the teaching mode was developed with combination of theory and practice teaching.Based on academic education,the achievements in scientific research were applied to class teaching,which led students to the forefront of biological research and fostered their creative awareness and abilities.Practice has shown that this teaching mode contributes to cultivate students' integrative ability and improve the teaching effectiveness.
