Aim: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) is a potentially malignant disorder with 7.6% of malignant transformation rate into oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The aim of the study is to assess the genetic markers p16 and ki-67 in OSF, OSCC, and OSCC with the background of OSF and control group.
