The curative effect of metformin in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus with non-alcoholic fatty liver

OBJECTIVE To observe the effects of metformin in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus with non-alcoholic fatty liver.METHODS Clinical effects of inpatient hospital endocrinology newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver.72 patients were randomly divided into two groups.group A and group B,measured FPG,PPG,body mass index(BMI),TC,TG,ALT,AST,GGT,AKP,HbA1C.RESULTS After treatment,HbA1C,FPG,PPG,TG,ALT,AST,GGT,AKP were significantly decreased than before treatment(P0.05),BMI in group A was significantly decreased(P0.05).CONCLUSION Metformin in the clinical treatment of diabetic patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver has a good effect.
