Muon capture rates for44Ca and40Ca: observation of the isotope effect

Time distribution of capture products was used for determining V disappearance; results are presented in graphical form. A diagram amd a description of the apparatus are given. Observed and predicted values for the isotope effect are compared, amd fair agreement is obtained. (L.N.N.)
