Study and Application of ASM2d in Wastewater Treatment

Introduction was given to the content of activated sludge model No.2(ASM2d) for description of nitrogen and phosphorus removal process and the use of ASM2d for simulating wastewater treatment.The ASM2G which was developed based on ASM2d was applied for simulative analysis on a wastewater treatment plant.By means of parameters correction,the simulation result on the effluent from secondary sedimentation tank was well-fitted to the observed data with error less than 10%.It is verified that ASMd2 can make good response to the actual operation of wastewater treatment;it can simulate wastewater treatment and forecast effluent quality,and can be used as the platform of subsidiary process design.
