Coroners’ Surgical Consultation: Q rdr H TO

Abstract This chapter will briefly outline the concept of the Coroner; and give a statistical perspective of the Los Angeles Department of Coroner. Fifteen of fifty-four personal surgical consultations will be presented in a mnemonic Q rdr H TO format, and a following discussion will focus upon the value of these consultations: surgical care, Medical Board reporting, manner of death determination, and the value of peer-review conferencing.
