Promoted combustion improves FCCU flexibility

Well-controlled CO combustion in the regenerator of a fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) can be a valuable tool for the refiner to optimize unit energy balance and conversion, and to improve the flexibility of the FCC operation.
