ALGUNAS CONSIDERACIONES SOBRE EL PROBLEMA MENTE/CEREBRO EN EL CONTEXTO DE LAS NEUROCIENCIAS COGNITIVAS

El objetivo que persigue el presente trabajo consiste en analizar una serie de cuestiones referidas al problema mente/cerebro en el contexto de las neurociencias cognitivas. Con este proposito, se realiza a modo introductorio, un breve estado del arte sobre el lugar que ocupa el problema mente/cerebro en el ambito de la filosofia de la mente. En segundo lugar, se exploran las consecuencias que dicho problema esta comenzando a tener en el ambito de las neurociencias cognitivas, principalmente, a partir de la implementacion de las modernas tecnicas de neuroimagen. Finalmente, se exponen algunas consideraciones respecto a las relaciones posibles entre las neurociencias cognitivas y la filosofia de la mente. Firstly, a brief state of the art about the mind/brain problem in the philosophy of mind´s field is carried out. Secondly, some of the actual consequences of the mentioned problem in the cognitive neuroscience research area are explored. It is necessary to highlight that the neuroimaging techniques have a fundamental role in this issue. Finally, some considerations about the possible relationships between the cognitive neurosciences and the philosophy of mind are exposed.
