IMPACTO DE LA PANDEMIA POR COVID-19 EN LA CANASTA ACCIONARIA DEL COLCAP EN COLOMBIA: IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON COLCAP INDEX BASKET IN COLOMBIA

RESUMEN   El presente articulo analiza el impacto de la pandemia Covid – 19 en las acciones de mayor capitalizacion bursatil en Colombia que componen la canasta del indice COLCAP. Asi, mediante un estudio de tipo analitico descriptivo se examina el comportamiento de los rendimientos de las acciones y su riesgo mediante el calculo de su coeficiente de variacion y su beta. Igualmente, se realiza una revision de la literatura que explica las causas y consecuencias de las crisis financieras y su impacto en la economia internacional y nacional. Como resultado del analisis de los datos, se encontro que la pandemia afecto en gran medida la rentabilidad y el riesgo de las principales acciones del pais, en especial la accion preferencial de Avianca. Palabras clave: Covid-19, Acciones, Riesgo, Rentabilidad.   ABSTRACT   This article discusses the impact of the Covid – 19 pandemic on the largest market capitalization stocks in Colombia that make up the COLCAP index basket. Thus, a descriptive analytical type study examines the performance behavior of stocks and their risk by calculating their coefficient of variation and their beta. Likewise, a review of the literature is carried out that explains the causes and consequences of financial crises and their impact on the international and national economy. As a result of the analysis of the data, it was found that the pandemic greatly affected the profitability and risk of the country's main stocks, especially Avianca's preferential stock..
