Electrochemical and opto-electrochemical properties of poly(isothianaphthene)
1986
Abstract Electrochemical and visible-i.r. spectroscopy studies of PITN are reported as a function of dopant concentration. Electrochemical voltage spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry were used to determine the energy of charge injection, 2.6 V versus Li, and to determine the electrochemical potential as a function of dopant concentration of the PITN electrode. In situ measurements of the visible-i.r. absorption spectrum provide complementary information on the changes in electronic structure that occur during doping.
