The invention discloses an MC direct torque control method capable of improving the input and output performance. An MC evaluation function is built; a new MC switch table is built according to the MC evaluation function; a torque impact factor, a flux linkage impact factor and an input power factor impact factor reference value are calculated, the MC torque impact factor, the flux linkage impact factor and the input power factor impact factor value corresponding to the MC switch combination are inquired from the MC switch table, an objective function is built, and the MC switch combination enabling the objective function to be minimum in value is selected and used for controlling a motor. Compared with a traditional method, the method has the advantages of being capable of effectively restraining the torque and flux linkage fluctuation of the MC output side and improving the input current quality of the MC input side. According to the method, the new MC switch table is built. Compared with a traditional switch table, the new MC switch table can reflect the impact degree of the MC switch combination on the system electromagnetic torque, the stator flux linkage amplitude and the input power factor more comprehensively, directly and subtly.
