Modeling and simulation for non-involute beveloid gear with intersecting axis

Based on generating cutting method, we set up a mathematical model of the processing of non-involute beveloid gear by shaper cutter enveloping. By describing their coordinate relationships and kinematic constraint conditions, a non-involute beveloid tooth vector equation is obtained using vector transformation. Using the numerical calculation tool, the exterior features of two kinds of beveloid gears are validated. Using the 3D modeling tool, a dynamic simulation is conducted on non-involute beveloid gear pairs with intersecting axes. Results show that the proposed gear pair runs smoothly and the axial play has no impact. It has strong practical value.
