THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED ADULT'S CONCEPTS OF GOOD AND BAD ACTS

2008
: As a component of a pretraining investigation of the moral knowledge of 100 mentally handicapped adults (56 females, 44 males), the spontaneous definitions of 'good' and 'bad' acts were acquired. The results suggest that these concepts are predominantly consequence oriented and that mentally handicapped adults experience confusion in the use of these two terms.
