Spectral Component Analysis of Magnetically Unshielded Magnetocardiograms

The novel coronavirus pandemic has risen the challenge to find new health analysis techniques and devices. Magneto-cardiograms acquire information about the electric activity of the heart, displaying a richer frequency spectrum than the classical electrocardiograms. We will analyze the biological data from a new viewpoint, checking the frequency band of the signal using wavelets and Welch’s method. The Power Spectral Density is used as an objective estimate of the power components distribution over the frequency range. We aim to develop adaptive and efficient filtering procedures. The results display a neater signal, more useful for diagnosis.
